Cyber Runway, delivered by Plexal, is the UK’s largest accelerator program, focusing on the cyber security marketplace. Funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) in partnership with Deloitte and the Centre for Secure Information Technologies, the program has welcomed 42 new businesses, including IDEE Limited. Businesses have been specially selected through a competitive application process and the program is designed to “support the most promising innovators…” addressing the most significant challenges in cyber security.
Cyber Runway unites participants in an intensive schedule of stream-specific activities tailored towards both business Growth and Scale. As a scale-up, IDEE has quite naturally joined the Scale track.
Initiatives include business masterclasses, mentoring, and support with product development. It will also connect businesses with investors, and industry & governmental leaders. This exclusive accelerator is designed to help tech scale-ups develop their solutions and market presence, both in the UK and abroad, with attention also paid to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
Al Lakhani, CEO of IDEE said, “We are very excited indeed to have been given this opportunity. Having also been part of the NCSC for Startups program, we can pay testament to the superb quality of these government-backed initiatives.
Now, as we enter a new stage of our company’s growth and look for ways to scale-up, both here in the UK and internationally, including Europe and North America, it is satisfying to know that we can lean into the outstanding support offered by Plexal.
At a time when the demand for ever-more robust security is more urgent than ever for all industries, it’s really exciting to be part of the solution and help contribute to the overall UK economy at the same time. We look forward to what the future holds.”
